Adverse weather condition track days are most interesting track days

I’m looking forward to more than half the roster not showing up and having the track to myself. Plus, I get to meet fellow nutzos.

I’m done for the year, my ambition outweighed my budget.
Shenandoah is a fun circuit I’m told, very tight with lots of turns, including the one that’s half-banked like the turn on the Nuremburgereregeiourgring. Apparently there are some walls that are very close to the track, which rustles my jimmies the wrong way. I try to run every day @ Main that I can though, and I like the Jefferson circuit but haven’t done that in a few yrs.
What are you riding / driving?

I drive an BMW M3 (E92).
I’m told shenandoah’s karussell is actually a scale replica of nurburgring’s. The walls are pretty close, but it’s a different from main in that it’s not a power course, so you’re not really going that fast throughout.
But yes, very fun. A little overwhelming at first as my first course in 15 years, but still very fun once I got the rhythm.
What clubs are you signed up with? I need to hit main before the end of the year.

I’m not signed with any clubs, but only to trackdays on a bike, not car. There are some differences, but obviously the tracks are the same.
If Summit Point is close, you need to make the drive to Pitt Race at least once to run the full course there. It’s around 3 1/2 hrs away, but definitely worth the drive.

Dear god I love Shenandoah so much. It’s the one track where the (relative) lack of power in my ZHP means very little. I’ve done 3 track weekends there with the BMWCCA of NJ club and I’ve still yet to be passed. And I’ve had e92 M3's and Porsche 911's in my run group. It’s also the only track where I’ve forced an honest pass out of my Father in his 750Li.
